Little did we know that our Samson would quickly transform into a new breed of dog, the German shepherd water dog. We can’t keep him off the beach or out of the water. That picture was taken after a busy day of digging moats, chasing seagulls and swimming. He simply collapsed. And I fortunately had the camera to snap the picture. “
